There is news that the 4th Generation iPhone (3,1) is now being tested in San Francisco. This will be in time for it’s debut for the WWDC 2010. We will post more information regarding to the features and the physical design of the phone. I am drooling now. S. Korea’s debut of the iPhone is reported to be a smash. With over 53,000 pre-orders prior to it’s launch date we can see Samsung and LG sweating in their pants.

I saw this new keyboard feature and it looks promising. I love the iPhone, but like the other gripping people who owns the iPhone, I hate the virtual keyboard. This Swype looks promising. Look for this feature in the new Samsung Omnia and up and coming Android phones.

A 3rd iPhone worm has been released, spotted, and creating chaos in Europe and Australia. This worm uses the same exploit as the previous worms, but this one is a lot more dangerous. This one will steal your personal data, search for other vulnerable phones and CHANGE the SSH password so you can’t modify it. The only way for you to get rid of this worm is to wipe out your entire phone. For those who have not jailbroken or unlocked your phones, your device is safe. Our annual Black Friday from Apple is arriving. So keep your eyes open for savings on your Apple website in your region.

It’s an open secret that game developers are frustrated with Apple’s approval process. On the other hand, gamers are also scaling back on the Android platform because they are not making any money from it. So what would you rather do pull a tooth and nail to get approve and then make some money or swoop through the process and not make a dime?

This will really suck big time if it happens. It is rumored that Apple will start allowing ads/commercials to run prior to launching an iPhone App. So does that mean that we are forced to watch these ads even after we purchased the app?? Wall Street is expecting Apple to sell 2.9 million units of Macs this quarter. I switched from Windows to Mac 2 months ago and I tell you using a Mac is so much easier. Not surprised at these figures.

Beware of dirt cheap unlocked brand new iPhone devices for sale at online classified or auction sites. It has been reported that 4,000 (valued at $3 million) brand new unlocked iPhones had been stolen from a warehouse in Belgian. Not sure what Apple will do to lock out these stolen devices from being used with other global carriers but I’m sure they have the ability to do it. It has been reported that China’s App Store (launched less than a month) has been getting a massive amount of downloads despite the lack of WiFi feature in China’s legitimate iPhone device. I’m sure once their new WiFi device model is release the App Store in China will explode in sales and downloads.

I’ve been a big fan of OnLive and I was thrilled when they did a demo on their iPhone based PC game. OnLive is an internet based interactive streaming service that is the future for online gaming. Online gaming on the iPhone will now be a reality. Great works guys!

Call of Duty fans can now ‘headshot’ their way using the iPhone. This app will work with 4 iPhone players using WiFI only (no EDGE or 3G support) app available for $10 at the App Store. Happy shooting.

For those who wants to take their risk in voiding their iPhone’s warranty and the risk of bricking your device; here is a step by step tutorial in jailbreaking and unlocking your iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS:

IMPORTANT: JAILBREAKING AND UNLOCKING (HACKING) YOUR IPHONE WILL VOID YOUR WARRANTY SO USE THIS TUTORIAL WITH CAUTION AND PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1) Make sure that you have iPhone OS 3.1.2 installed in your phone – jailbreak requires 05.11.07 baseband.

2) If you have a new iPhone 3GS (updated Bootrom), BlackRa1n only supports a tethered jailbreak. This means that once jailbroken you should not let your battery die. If it does die you will need to reconnect it to the computer and use BlackRa1n to boot it.

3) Make sure you backup your iPhone.

How to Jailbreak your iPhone:

1) Goto the Blackra1n site to download blackra1n.exe for Windows by clicking the Windows logo.

2) Connect your iPhone or to the computer and run the downloaded blackra1n executable file

3) You will now be shown a button that reads ‘Make it ra1n‘. Click on the button to the jailbreak process

Notice the following events on your iPhone:

• The iPhone is placed in recovery mode
• The recovery mode is replaced by a picture of Geohot on your iPhone
• Your device will reboot

4) You are shown a pop-up. You may press OK

How to unlock your iPhone:

1) Make sure that you are connected to the internet. Select the Blackra1n icon

2) Once the installation is complete, you are shown a confirmation screen. Tap on ‘Close‘

3) Unlocking is complete. You can confirm this from the Blacksn0w icon on the springboard.

4) You may uninstall blackra1n now. Tap on the blackra1n icon on the springboard and press uninstall.

That’s it.
